Located 160 km from Marrakech, the Ouzoud Waterfalls, a jewel of the Middle Atlas, offer a breathtaking natural spectacle. Majestic waterfalls cascade from a height of 110 meters, creating an almost permanent rainbow in a limestone basin surrounded by lush vegetation. You’ll even have the chance to swim at the foot of the falls by following a shaded path lined with olive trees.At the top of the falls, near the spectacular gorge, stand a dozen ancient small grain mills, still operational thanks to the torrent’s water. At dusk, you can observe families of monkeys playing in the carob trees, large trees whose delicious fruits they love. Nearly a hundred Barbary macaques, with beige fur and eyes framed by a black line, have made their home in the cliffs’ caves.
